Privacy Policy
Continuum is built to protect the information you trust it with. We collect the minimum needed to run the service, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Continuum ("Continuum", "we", "us") is a service of ClearFrameworks, operated by Michael Paynotta. This policy covers the Continuum web app at continuum.clearframeworks.org, the Continuum desktop shell, and related client access tools.
What we collect
- Account & sign-in. When you connect Continuum, we receive an authorization grant that lets us create your own scoped client identity. We do not receive or store your password for those platforms.
- Content you give Continuum. The requests, notes, files, and workspace information you send so Continuum can do its job — this is the memory that makes the service useful to you.
- Payment details. If you purchase, payment is handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data. Standard logs such as timestamps, IP address, and request metadata, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
- To provide Continuum's features — memory, continuity, and automations you ask for.
- To sign you in and keep each user's workspace separate and private.
- To process payments and provide support.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private workspace content to train outside models.
Model processing
To carry out your requests, the content you send may be passed to model providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI) that process it to generate a response. Their handling of that content is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Service providers we share data with
We share only what is necessary for these providers to perform their function on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Website and API hosting |
| Supabase | Database and storage of your workspace data |
| Railway | Background processing / automation workers |
| Stripe | Payment processing |
| Anthropic, OpenAI | Model processing of your requests |
Where your data is stored, and for how long
Your data is stored on the infrastructure of the providers listed above, which operate in the United States. We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and we delete it within a reasonable period after you close your account or ask us to remove it, except where we must keep records to meet a legal or accounting obligation.
Your choices
- You can disconnect Continuum access at any time.
- You can ask us to access, export, correct, or delete your data by emailing us.
Security
We protect your data in transit with encryption (HTTPS), keep each user's access scoped to their own identity, and keep credentials and secrets out of our codebase. No method of storage or transmission is ever 100% secure, but we work to protect your information at every step.
Children
Continuum is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 18 and older.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above.
